I get great satisfaction from sorting out texts – it’s the editor in me striking out! Nothing satisfies me more than tidying up texts to make them fulfil their potential. I can also take ideas in their most raw form – even a list of interesting facts or the bare bones of a story idea, and make them into texts that really work. I can work alone or with writers and editors. I am particularly experienced in work for younger children, but would welcome the challenge of working on texts for older children.
